All it takes is an ordinary blood draw, at home or at a partner facility. No invasive procedure, no hospital stay.
The mononuclear cells are isolated from the blood and cryopreserved, keeping the biological characteristics they had on the day of the draw.
They can be reprogrammed into iPSCs, the platform behind the first regenerative therapies already approved, as new applications are validated.
